Banners are an excellent way to advertise for your brand. Whether big, small, vertical or horizontal, there’s a lot of creative ways to catch a customer’s eye! My advice to Merchants is always to supply your Affiliates with as many options as you can to really give Affiliates the opportunity to find what fits for their site. In turn, they can present your program in the best light possible.
Category Focused Banners
If your website is broken down into certain categories, this might be a great option for you! You can build your banners around the most popular categories specific to your site.
Product, Seasonal & Holiday Focused Banners
Do you have best selling products you’d like to feature? You can definitely create product focused banners in addition to your Product Feed inventory. We also see Merchants do exceptionally well when they are targeting popular seasons and holidays their customers might be interested in! I pulled a few examples of banners from a couple of our merchants that show how to target by these important metrics!
Some Great Examples:
Deep Landing Pages
Would you like to navigate your customers to the exact product listed on the creative? We accept Merchants Deep Linking their creatives to minimize the amount of clicks to navigate your customers to the products they want to see! Here’s a great example!
Your Logo Size!
If you want the affiliates to view a LOGO on their end when searching for your account, upload a banner that is 88×31. That is traditional logo size and will automatically put itself on the Affiliate Interface as your logo once you upload.
If you would like a quick reference guide to the topics covered today, this one-sheet PDF includes our tips and best practices for building your banner inventory.
So the next time your creative juices are flowing and you’re thinking of new ways to advertise and ask yourself the question of what your affiliates want to advertise, these are some great references and tools to help guide you in that direction!
