ShareASale recently experienced a temporary disruption to our network on the morning of January 4, 2023.
This tracking disruption was caused by a failure in our monitoring system to detect a hosting error. Once aware of the downstream effects to our app servers’ redirection services, our teams were able to resolve the issue and restore tracking within minutes. Since the incident, our monitoring systems have been expanded to ensure that we are quickly alerted and able to address issues as they arise.
What happens next
As a next step and at no cost to our merchants, ShareASale will be compensating affected affiliates for their assessed performance loss during this outage, calculated based on affiliate commission values. This compensation will be directly inserted into the ShareASale publisher account by the end of the week.
