Tip of the Day: How to Keep Track of Merchant Email Addresses

So you have been in the Affiliate game for a while now and you have a solid list of Merchants. You promote them well but you are looking for better ways to organize your Affiliate life, starting with your Merchant contacts.

ShareASale makes it simple to keep track of contact information for the Merchant programs you have joined. Start by logging into your account and go to the Merchants tab at the top of your Affiliate homepage. On this menu bar, click on Download Your Merchant List.

This page is similar to when you download a Merchants datafeed. You will be receiving a pipe delimited file of all the Merchant programs you have joined with specific column headers. The columns include both basic and advanced information regarding the Merchant Programs, and they are listed below.

When you have downloaded this file, you can easily import it into Excel using their text import wizard. You can then customize it to have just the information you want to keep for Merchant contacts like name and email address!
