A while back, an Affiliate suggested that we create a report that would show any invalid links in their account. Thus eliminating the need for the Affiliate to search through links for each individual Merchant they partnered with.
And so, the Invalid Links Report was born! Right off the bat this report had some great information available that helps Affiliates maintain their account and saves valuable time.
As you can see in the image above, the original report shows what Merchant has an invalid link within the last day, the Banner ID number, the Invalid Reason, and the Referer.
With the new update, we have added some new features to this report as shown below.
We have added a new column that shows the date and time the link was clicked as shown above in the highlighted section.
Affiliates can also view a popup of the CSV data by clicking the blue link on the left side just above the table.
As a rule, he or she who has the most information will have the greatest success in life. -Benjamin Disraeli
We have also added the Invalid Link Report to the API Requests. As shown in the image below, you can now run this report with its 7 columns.
Invalid ID, Merchant ID, Banner ID, Referrer, Code, Reason, and Date.
Please let us know if you have any questions regarding the updates to this report, or if you have any additional suggestions. As stated in the beginning, this report was created from an idea that an Affiliate brought to us. So keep those great ideas coming!
