Extra, extra, read all about it!
We have added some great new macros to the list. If you are unfamiliar with the way macros work, you can read a quick over view below.
Simply put, macros are a way to personalize your communication.

Alright so now that we’re all on the same page, without further adieu, the new macros!
Next time you are in the Newsletter tool, you will notice “get link” as an option with each creative as well as a “Get Links URL” under Newsletter Information in the macro index.
Essentially what the Get Links URL will do is provide a link that will take the Affiliate directly to the page that lists the Program’s entire creative inventory. The Get Links macro listed with each creative element will generate a link to that specific creative in the Affiliate Interface so the Affiliate can easily copy and paste the tracking link for that one item.
Below is an example of the page on the Affiliate Interface where Affiliate would go to find tracking links for all the creatives available in a Merchant’s program. This would include banners, text links, coupons, products from the datafeed, video, special html/ email creatives, and widgets. If you would like to provide a link to this page for your Affiliates, use the “Get Links URL” macro listed under Newsletter Information.
Using the macro “get link” under a specific creative item (such as a banner, text link, coupon, etc) will provide the Affiliate with a URL to click that will direct them to a page in the Affiliate Interface where they will be able to get the tracking link for that one item. In the screenshot below, you can see an example of the get link page for a banner.
One last note, macros can be used in Reply emails as well. So the Get Links macro is a great way to easily introduce new Affiliates to the page where they can grab the links needed to start promoting right away!
Hooray!
