MONTH OF THE INTERFACE!
Hello everyone, as part of the annual blogging series announced yesterday, this month we’re going to focus on what we call the “Month of the Interface”. Each day, a new blog post will come out highlighting a new change here at ShareASale. These changes may be small or may be big, but the overall goal is to have our Merchants and Affiliates have a better end user experience when they use ShareASale.com. You can view the entire series by clicking on the #TheInterface hashtag at the top…
As Product Quality Manager, it’s my job to help produce continuous improvements to the website, as well as adding value to the Customer Service, Sales, and Client Services departments. We strive each and every day to the best we can be for you, our clients.

Some of the improvements you will see this month came from suggestions that were sent in by Affiliate and Merchants from our anonymous fix it page http://www.shareasale.com/fixit/ (seen above) as well as different ideas that were brought up both internally in ShareASale, and from Merchants and Affiliates ideas from emails, meetings at shows, the ShareASale Thinktank, etc.
Every Friday along with our blogs about technical updates, we will have also blog in the section called “Fun Friday”, which will give you an inside look at some of our employees in and outside the office.
We hope you enjoy this month of updates and that they will help to streamline your Affiliate and Merchant accounts. Our goal is to have the most user friendly and informative performance marketing network. If you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to email us at Shareasale@Shareasale.com or call us at 312-321-0487.
Tagging in the Affiliate Details Page
For our first blog of the Month of the Interface, we have extended tagging to the Affiliate Details page.
First of all, let me explain what Tags are if you aren’t totally familiar with them. Tags are a great way to organize your Affiliates, and this differs from the Affiliate Group feature in where you can assign multiple tags to any Affiliate and are also for the merchant reference only. Tags are a great way used to filter reports and also filter affiliates by specific filters such as personalized commission rates.
You can read more on tags here:

Tags are a great way to organize your Affiliates
As you can see, you can add the tags on the Affiliate List
Now you can add them as well when going through an Affiliates Detail page, the benefit of this being that if you see something about an affiliate when going through their details view that you think is worth tagging, you can now add the tag from this page.
As well as being able to use the tag manager from this page as well.
If you have any questions regarding the tag feature, please email us at Shareasale@shareasale.com or call our support team at 312-321-0487
