Halloween is approaching so I thought I would throw out this question…. What are you going to be for Halloween?
I have never been one to dress-up for Halloween but I am thinking that this may be a fun year to start with Halloween being on a Saturday and all.
I am pretty certain that we will all see our fair share of Michael Jackson,The Joker and Billy Mays costumes so scratch those off of the list. What do you think will be the hot costume for Halloween 2009?

Halloween spending says
October 15, 2009 at 2:13 amHolidays typically involve a certain amount of discretionary spending in celebration of that holiday, and Halloween spending is already beginning! Halloween spending includes setting up hayrides, mazes, haunted houses, and popular Halloween costumes. Halloween also means more candy and Pepto Bismol to go with it. This year, Michael Jackson costumes are already selling at a record pace, and lots of people will be out there with Thriller costumes. Halloween is fast rising as one of the biggest spending holidays. People are even dressing up their pets for Halloween – who doesn’t love an insipid and annoying Chihuahua in a tutu? There will be plenty of Halloween spending of short-term loans on cool costumes and events for sure this year.

June 17, 2010 at 2:27 pmPeople should only spend money on Halloween costumes if they have the necessary funds. Way too often we see people living for today and the struggling tomorrow!
Pink Bunny Costumes says
July 24, 2010 at 9:57 pmPersonally I agree with SGC (above)… but I think that people will dress up regardless of whether or not they have the money. Thankfully there are some great deals out there on all sorts of great costumes!

July 27, 2010 at 1:14 amYou gotta know that Halloween is one of those times when it is a total joy to see kids all dressed up. You know they love it, the parents love it and seeing them believe no one knows who they are…priceless. I’m looking so forward to the new and old costumes this year…again.
Red Riding Hood Dress says

Twilight will undoubtably be popular this year as will any vamp costume, I have noticed several Michael Jackson outfits around, tasteful? I still love my little dead riding hood costume, mixture of fairy tale and goth horror.
army costumes says
July 29, 2010 at 9:19 pmI think that Tiger woods will be a popular costume this year considering the amount of coverage he has had this year, and the ease with which it would be to make a costume (simply borrow or buy a golfing outfit).
Storm the Cute Halloween Costume says
August 2, 2010 at 6:52 pmI still believe stormtrooper costume from star-wars will be my sons costume this halloween.

August 5, 2010 at 3:14 pmWhat sets Halloween costumes apart from costumes for other celebrations or days of dressing up is that they are often designed to imitate supernatural and scary beings.
Funniest Halloween Costumes says
August 9, 2010 at 6:20 pmFor me, I’ll go with the funny costume this year, and I’ll choose the “I DON’T WANT TO GROW UP ADULT COSTUME”.
Kids Costumes says
August 10, 2010 at 10:37 amChildren really look forward towards selecting their Halloween costumes, especially toddlers. It’s usually only for a couple of Halloweens, so I say, let them go for it. Buying something new is cheap, and will save you a lot of time. Many costumes come in economy and deluxe versions so there’s plenty of saving if you desire. Toy Story 3 costumes are going to be the big hits, this year.
Tracy from Pregnant Costume says
August 11, 2010 at 7:48 pmBeing pregnant right now, I’ll wear any pregnant costume this coming halloween.
Mae at Halloween Cheerleader Costume says
August 12, 2010 at 2:12 pmI think you and your family can enjoy dressing up for Halloween, as long as you stay within your budget. Some people let holiday spending get out of hand and then get the blues after it is over. I believe dressing up as cheerleader is an upbeat way to celebrate Halloween. And the cheerleader costumes for kids are so cute.

September 2, 2010 at 4:28 pmI dress up as a witch every year to hand out the Halloween goodies. The rest of my family came up with fun costume ideas. My kids are going to be the Super Mario Bros gang…Mario, Luigi and Princess Peach. My dog is a huge white German Shepherd and he is going to be his usual…Count Dracula the Doggie. I love him in his cape! The Hubby is going as himself…it’s okay, he’s the type that always looks like he is in costume…lol.

September 10, 2010 at 3:10 pmToy Story is huge this here so going out as Woody, Buzz, and Jessie is a great way to go. Also the movie makes a lot of money this year and very popular with kids of all ages even adults.

September 28, 2010 at 8:35 pmI always shoot for something evil. I never stick to one specific character or “packaged” costume. I just dig piecing together what I think looks cool and creating something that makes kids run away:)
Of course that year I had a live chainsaw really made them run…LOL!
