In an effort to further help both affiliates and merchants on the ShareASale network – we’re experimenting with a new method in organizing merchant listings. Starting today, we’ll be allowing merchants to indicate which holidays throughout the year are most effective for the different types of products that they market. For example, a merchant who is selling candy online would have several different timespans throughout the year that were high selling months… Halloween, Easter, etc… but the candy selection that would sell best during those times is unique.
In a “Holiday Listing” on ShareASale, a merchant will determine which holidays are important for them, and indicate to an affiliate which specific products during that time are the best sellers. In addition to h elping merchants find more affiliates, we hope this also assists affiliates in finding products that fit their individual site’s traffic patterns – if they differ for different holidays.
