From time to time I come across programs that seem to have a lot of potential, and I would like to detail one of those today. As timing would have it, this specific merchant is also running a May bonus program so acting quick could get you a good bonus.
The program is called TinyTotDressShop.com – some of you may have noticed it as a Featured Program of the Week this past week. Although the EPC stats are a little up and down right now (which is normal for a new program as affiliates start to pick it up and generate sales), there are a few things that I really like about the way the program is setup:
1. The datafeed that they have is well built, including category information for their products such as “Infant Girls Party Dresses”, and “Toddler Girls Party Dresses”
2. Utilizing ShareASale’s Make-A-Page tool, along with the quality datafeed they have provided allows for quick and easy creation of product pages.
As an example, I’ve shown below what I was able to do in only a few minutes…First I loaded the ShareASale Make-A-Page, and selected TinyTotDressShop from the Custom list (As TinyTotDressShop has included custom category information)
Then all I had to do was select which types of products from their list. In this example I chose “Party Dresses for Girls” and then a second sub-level of “Toddler Girls Party Dresses”
The Make-A-Page tool generated my page skeleton for me…including the HTML I needed, that I could just copy and paste. Note: It is always very important to utilize this information as a starting point – and customize all of your pages specifically for your user base or website. Utilizing this information “As-Is” can create a lot of duplicate content, because other affiliates may use this tool as well… So make sure to do your own customization and use your creativity!
3. Their commission structure is very fair, at 12% – and they utilize a 365 day cookie for return visitors.
4. The site is well designed, has wonderful looking images of their products, and generally impressed me with the ease at which I browsed the site. This is important because you need to have confidence in the merchant programs that you partner with, as you are sending your site visitors off to them.
5. They have a dedicated affiliate manager who we have worked with in the past and has shown excellent dedication to affiliates, and quality management.
6. In addition to all that, they are advertising a May Bonus, which still has some time left on it…
