There are many ways to modify the commission that your Affiliate can receive. In fact, there are so many options that it can be overwhelming to know where to even start! For example, here are ALL the possible commissioning options that exist within ShareASale:
Yep, you read that right. There are THAT many! This list is what we refer to as the “Commission Hierarchy”. Each commission setting runs with its own priority in the commission hierarchy which is represented above: rules at the bottom trump everything above it!
To get a better idea about how all these commission options work within your program, check out the Commission Portal page. From there, you can see which you are currently using and how.
Individual Commission Hierarchy
You can also find this hierarchy represented on the Affiliate Detail page. Depending on the complexity of your commission structure, you may see a range listed in the commission box. If you click on the commission hierarchy button, you can see all the various commission settings that would/could affect that particular Affiliate.
