Activate Non-Performing Affiliates
First, we recommend that you utilize the tagging feature to get organized.
In order to find and tag Affiliates as “low performers”, you will need to find out who they are! All it takes is a little quick filtering from your Affiliate List. Select “Advanced Filters and Sorting” from the left sidebar and look for the “Performance Metric” option. Fill it out so you are sorting Affiliates who have generated $0 (or any low value) in sales. You can use the predefined time periods or choose your own from the custom calendar option.
Don’t just stop there! Explore some of the other filter options to make sure you pare down your list in any way you see fit.
You can also create a few different tags of “low performers” that fall into various categories. Targeting a group that has generated at least some clicks or very few sales may be a better mark because you know that they have the capacity and links in place. An Affiliate with $0 sales and traffic may be a harder conversion.
Once you’ve filtered your list to show only the low performers, hit the “Tag All” button at the top of the page and create a tag.
Create an Incentive with Commission Rules
Now that you have a tag set up, you can create an enticing incentive offer using commission rules to inspire them to take action. An example rule would be a boosted commission for those tagged Affiliates for the next 30 days.
Now it’s time to check in with them!
Open the Newsletter tool, choose the type and then click on “recipients.” There are four filtering options.
- Commissions this month
- Commissions total
