Blogs are a great resource for finding information about locations, products, brands, or specific subjects. They have become a go-to source for many people.
As a part of sharing information, bloggers are often looking for like-minded brands that may have products or creatives that can help accentuate their websites. Finding the right partnerships between brands and bloggers is crucial for helping your readers, the brand and YOU in the long run!
That’s where ShareASale comes in! Our goal is to help facilitate relationships between bloggers & brands, helping both to find new sources of growth and revenue.
Our Merchant Search tool for Affiliates is the easiest way to find a specific type of Merchant or Product to promote. There are two easy ways to do this!
You can use the category search, shown above as one of the tabs listed as “Browse by Category” which gives you over 39 different categories to browse and to find Merchants that may be a good fit for your website or blog. If you already have an item or brand in mind, try the keyword search (shown below). You can select either Merchants or specific products.
For example, if a blogger is looking for wedding dresses, she could select “Wedding” in the category search page, but that may be too broad. Let’s see what happens by putting “wedding dress” in the keyword search.
The results display all the Merchants and products that use “wedding dress” as a keyword – 16k+ products and 133 Merchants is a lot to go through! This blogger just wants to find the best performing Merchants by 7 day EPC (a metric used to indicate the average earnings generated as a result of 100 clicks on a link or ad).
The results allow the blogger to sort by a number of different criteria, including 7 day EPC, by choosing what to sort by from the drop down list next to the keyword(s) used and the tool will automatically re-order the list for easy viewing!
The statistics shown next to each Merchant will also help a blogger determine decide if this will be the Merchant that matches up well with their website or blog. If the Merchant is good choice, then a blogger can simply click to join their program right from the Search results page, underneath the Merchant name.
With so many different ways to search, browse and sort, a blogger is bound to find the best Merchants or brands to fit your website. It is important to take time to find relevant partnerships, so that the blog can provide authentic, real, genuine resources for its readers.
Don’t sign up for every Merchant you find, but take the time to do a little research to find that relevant fit. Use our search tool to help you find the right partnerships and to provide even more resources for the readers, growth for the brand, growth for the blog itself and money to keep the blog up & running!
