Guided Launch Program Recap: Teacher Peach

October 25, 2016 by ShareASale Author

We are so excited to introduce you to our new Guided Launch Featured Merchant, Teacher Peach! They are such a great resource for teachers, parents, school supplies and educational gifts. Bob, the Affiliate Manager, is super dedicated to building long-term partnerships and assisting Affiliates to promote Teacher Peach. Get to know Teacher Peach and you too will see how awesome they are!

Without further ado…introducing Teacher Peach!

Founder, Randi Brill.

When did the company start?

Teacher Peach was conceived and launched in 2012 by Randi Brill and a team of employees with over 30 years of curriculum development experience. Randi founded Teacher Peach in appreciation of the millions of amazing and devoted student champions out there teaching today.

Teacher Peach’s incredible team loves to dream up and develop well-designed, thoughtful, effective products and accessories for use by teachers and students in the classroom. Randi is proud to apply her educational experience to help teachers smile and continue to love teaching. She also loves creating her own brand of high-caliber educational support products where every detail can, should and does matter. All the way down to custom teacher postage stamps! (Wait till you see those!)

It’s important to Randi that Teacher Peach products brighten and enlighten. Tote bags with powerful teaching messages, subscription boxes that delight every month, and stickers, certificates, and notecards that help boost a struggling student’s confidence all benefit from our team’s deep educational expertise.

What distinguishes you from your competitors?

We are dedicated to celebrating and supporting teachers every day. All our products are non-curricular and focus on the teachers themselves or the positive influence that teachers have on student achievement and growth. We offer a Teacher’s only discount program that provides great value on all classroom and student use products. We also donate 10% of the profits of all sales to our grant-giving program Teacher Peach Seeds. Through this program, teachers can apply for and receive $100 grants in support of their efforts to recognize, reward or motivate students.

Demographic:

Our products are all for teachers. Our customers are teachers themselves, peers, colleagues, parents and the community at large. We have all benefited from the positive influence of teachers in our daily lives, our communities and our schools. Our product mix is currently best aligned with Pre-K – Grade 8 teachers.

Trends in the niche:

As with any consumer goods company, or retail sales, we see the holidays as our high sales season. But, we also have two very relevant seasons in addition to holiday (Oct – Dec). Our second best season is Back to School (Jul – Sep) and our third highest season is End of Year (Apr – Jun). End of Year also encompasses National Teacher Appreciation Day.We continue to offer a mix of products in classroom that can be used and consumed throughout the school year (Sep – May) as well as seasonal specials for teachers (Spring Break, Summer Vacation, etc.)

Favorite Products:

Our Teacher Totes is our most popular and best selling product line for gifts. In Classroom products, our new Positive Postcards line was our most successful during Back-to-School. We just launched our Teacher Discount Program. This gives teachers that sign up 20% off classroom products every day. This program will also feature TDP-only specials, sales and discounts through out the year on ALL products available on Teacherpeach.com. We are very excited to announce that our Affiliates will continue to earn full-retail commission on products purchased as part of TDP (before the discount).

Why did we build an Affiliate Marketing channel?

We see our Affiliate community as vital to our success. We are very excited about our vision and our purpose, yet we feel our story is best shared at the local or community level. Support, respect, and recognition for teachers is a personal relationship between teachers, students and the families they influence. Affiliates develop relationships with their communities and we feel partnering with them helps us to personalize our enthusiasm for teachers. We want a true, two-way partnership with our Affiliates. We hope to provide the support and opportunity for you to celebrate teachers in your community while achieving your goals from our program. We also want to learn from our Affiliates too, so that we can continue to grow and adapt to the needs of your customers or followers.

  1. Commission – 20% Sales, $0.20 lead, $15 referral, bonuses and specials
  2. Cookie Duration – 45 days
  3. Datafeed – Yes (423 products currently)

I had the pleasure of meeting both Bob and Randi, Teacher Peach CEO, at our annual ThinkTank conference in Chicago and they were truly such a joy to speak to. Their passion for Teacher Peach is so apparent through their dedication to Affiliates as well as the education community. If you are a blogger and love education, Teacher Peach is the perfect program for you!
