If I Were Stranded on a Desert Island, I Would Bring…

If you were stranded on an island and had to choose just 6 of your very favorite ShareASale Merchant products (no matter how practical, impractical, or fictitious they may be), what would you choose? We asked Aaron, ShareASale Sales Specialist, what would be on his survival short-list and here is what he chose:

1. My Side Of The Mountain Trilogy by Penguin Random House.

This is the first thing I would want. Part entertainment, part survival guide – I would need to brush up on the adventures of Sam and his falcon, Frightful, if I am to survive the elements. I might also consider the book “Hatchet”, but that makes nature survival seem dismal and offers no advice on animal companions.

2. Ultimate Robot Kit 2.0 by MakeBlock.

Speaking of companions on my island get-away, I would most definitely need some sort of sidekick to help out with chores and keep me company. With the Ultimate 2.0 10-in-1 robot kit I can have a robot friend to fit any situation.  I will name them Roybert and they will collect seashells, serve me drinks, and be my best friend.

3. Solar Charger Backpack by SunLabz.

This is most definitely a utilitarian choice. I need to keep Roybert fed, so why not feed him with the power of the sun? I’ll need a backpack anyway, so I’ll build two robots with one stone. This one even contains a water-pack so I can be sure I put fresh water in for Maximum Hydration.

4. Healthy Snacks by Nature Box.

Robots aren’t the only ones that need food. While we will probably be able to forage for all of the food we need, I would like to have some convenient snacks for all of my adventuring on this island. With nature box I could get weekly delivers of healthy snacks to keep me going should our foodsource run dry.

5. 2-Room 7 Person Tent by Wayfair.

Another utilitarian decision, Roybert and I definitely need some shelter in case the weather gets too harsh. This one conveniently comes with two rooms to give us both some privacy. They might be my best friends, but I’ll need some privacy from those prying robot eyes.

6. Water Raft by Colorado Kayak.

The Escape Plan –  All good things must come to an end. Things may go south when Roybert inevitably gaining sentience, begins self-replicating. There won’t be enough room for me and a bloodthirsty legion of robots. One of these inflatable rafts from Colorado Kayak would come in very handy should I have to set myself adrift.
