Tip of the Day: Program Bio

The Program Bio is presented to Affiliates as they search for Merchant Programs to join inside their account. The text is filled out by you, the Merchant, and provides an opportunity to make a first impression about what you offer potential Affiliates.

Typically in this section, Merchants list details about their program such as commission rate, cookie duration, Datafeed details and more. The goal is to entice Affiliates to join your program and start promoting you as soon as possible. 

It is key when marketing yourself in this industry to always know what kind of Affiliate you are looking for. Think about the audience that your product or service is geared towards. By highlighting this information to your prospective Affiliates, you will:

1. Encourage applications from relevant Affiliates that are a good fit for your Program. 

2. Potentially spark an idea with an Affiliate for how to promote your product on their site.

As a Merchant, you can update your Program Bio at any time from your Edit Settings page inside your account.
