We may be biased, but Affiliate Marketing is the best industry to be in – especially if you’re looking to take your blog to the next level! This is not an easy feat – on the contrary, it requires hard work, lots of time and commitment. That being said, becoming an Affiliate has a TON of perks that can help you provide more value and engage further with your readers – not to mention the potential to make some extra money on the side! Here is a list of the top six reasons to become an Affiliate:
Perk #1: “You’ll Never Work a Day in Your Life”
As the famous saying goes, “If you do what you love, you’ll never work a day in your life.” Most people start blogs or websites and continue with it because they love writing or love what they are writing about. If you already love your blog’s niche/topic, then the extra step of including Affiliate links should come pretty naturally. You are probably familiar with the best products and services in your industry, and may even be writing about them already. Using bookmarklet tools can make Affiliate Marketing and monetizing links so easy that you can’t say no! Why not allow your site visitors to engage more and take your beloved hobby to the next level by monetizing?
Perk #2: You Can Work from Home
Possibly the favorite perk of most bloggers is that they can work from home – or anywhere, really. Don’t take a shower if you don’t want to (but you probably should). Stay in your pj’s if you are having a bad day – in fact, you could even just stay in bed all day. Sometimes it’s on days like those that you access your best writing and most interesting thoughts! Working from home also gives you a lot of flexibility with your time and lifestyle. You can work when, where and how you want to…every. single. day.
Perk #3: It’s a Win-Win-Win Situation
When you help drive a sale and earn a commission, it is a win for everyone involved: you, the Merchant and your site visitor. You get a percentage of the customer’s total order value (yay!), the Merchant earns a new sale or customer, and your reader found out about a cool new product or brand. You really can’t go wrong and again, there is nothing to lose!
Perk #4: Customers are Worldwide
The internet has made the world much smaller and your content accessible on a global scale. A single person can now connect with people from all over the world. That means that you could have readers helping you earn commission from Germany, Brazil, Canada or even right here in the United States. How crazy is that!?
Perk #5: Future Passive Income
This is probably the best part about Affiliate Marketing. Those Affiliate links that you put on your blog will be there forever, which means that you can continue earning commission on those links for years to come. Don’t be fooled, it takes a lot of work to build up your blog to the point of passive income, but it is a MAJOR perk if you can get there!
Perk #6: It’s Free
As long as you have a website and that website is up-and-running & fully functional, applying for Affiliate Marketing Networks, like ShareASale, is completely free! Amazing, right? We help you make money – at ZERO cost or risk to you. The only commitment is time, but Affiliate Marketing is an industry where you get what you give. Sign up, take a look and start learning about how to monetize your website!

Thanks for the post it really explains good reasons to keep people motivated with having a great blog. A lot of people shy away from just doing what they love because they feel it won’t benefit them to where they can survive, but thats so not true when you incorporate ShareSale affiliate programs into your blog or website and commit to what you love it can and will happen, it might even seem like over night when you love it. So thanks again , hope everyone else enjoyed reading this post as much as I did.
