New Feature: License Plate Links

Hey everyone, take a look at the quick video below to learn how to use our new feature – the License Plate Link. License Plate Links are basically shortened custom URLs (hence the name License Plate) that are meant to be used in a social media environment where every character counts! It includes an optional “SocialBar” which makes it easy for anyone viewing your link to share it with their friends via social media outlets and email. The new link takes on the form of http://shrsl.com?~2 (click it to see an example) so it should be plenty short for social media use…

  1. Interesting tool. when does it go into effect? I assumed it was active but went to my dashboard and when I tried to make a custom link it was the same old thing, didn’t have the stuff that the video had (as far as what was available).

    Just went in to try it again and it’s working fine now. Maybe a cache problem on my end. Not sure but it’s working and that’s all that matters.

  13. I love this tool! Does it work in emails? I had an affiliate use it in a Mailchimp email and it didn’t seem to be working. Not sure if it was something they did wrong with Mailchimp or if the license plate links are only for social?
