Happy Friday Everyone. :)
I have returned safely from the dinner in Vancouver – it was a great event I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to make the trip… it’s a great city and a very well run event.
As you know, we’ve been doing the “Month of the Interface” this February which I had to put on temporary “pause” while I was up in Vancouver … the “Month” will return in full force on Monday and never-fear, we will make up those lost days in early March!!
So today, I wanted to touch on a couple of quick things that have come up….
1. March 9th, which is a Friday, we are facilitating a non-sponsored, non-affiliated casual dinner with anyone who wants to attend. The majority, obviously, will be local to Chicago and the surrounding Midwest areas – but anyone is welcome. Please email brian at shareasale.com or just post here if you would like to attend so that I can get you the official invite because it will be mandatory to RSVP and pay for the event.
The cost is $40 per person and includes a full dinner – it is at Buca di Beppo (Italian)
2. Thank you to everyone who nominated and also those who voted for us during the ABestWeb.com awards season. We were extremely honored to be voted the “Best Affiliate Network” of the year as well as the “Best Service to the Industry” for the year 2006. In a development that I was really happy about as well, CrazyForBargains.com was voted as the “Best Affiliate Program” which was fantastic to see because not only do they run their program on ShareASale, and utilize our Client Services Team (Way to go Carolyn and Sarah)… but they are also one of my favourite programs on the network. Join now everyone, we are all wearing fuzzy bunny slippers. :)
3. The “Merchant Focus” blog is changing up a little bit due to some feedback that I’ve received but the most imporant part of that is that we’ll be scaling back the frequency of the updates and moving to a twice-monthly format… I know we’ve been playing around with this a lot but as I said in the beginning: we need to experiment with these blogs to figure out what works best :)
4. “Month of the Interface” comes back on Monday… see you all then – have a great weekend.
