An annual tradition of the Awin Group is to host a summer get-together to encourage team building and strengthen interpersonal communication. This year, Awin and ShareASale ventured off to wine country – Napa Valley, California – disconnecting our laptops and putting work aside for a whirlwind 36-hour adventure.
From prestigious to smaller, family-run wineries, the Awin Group spent the day sipping fine wines among endless vineyard-covered hills and enjoying behind-the-scenes tours of each vineyard. It was the perfect way to kick off the dual-office trip and get to know one another in a more casual setting.
After an amazing day of sipping and site seeing, the Awin and ShareASale teams reunited for dinner. The night began with everyone sharing one fun fact about themself – did you know we have a national color guard champion, former Nickelodeon TV star, and comedy improv king among us?
The evening closed with an inspiring company update from Awin VP Alex Forsch and ShareASale VP Sarah Beeskow Blay. Additionally, team members split in to smaller breakout sessions to contribute their ideas for our joint road ahead.
Awin and ShareASale returned to Baltimore and Chicago energized and inspired… and with some new friends too. It was an eventful and exciting trip, and we look forward to seeing each other again soon!
