Spend time each month looking at your site analytics. There is a wealth of information found in the numbers. Identify the posts that have driven the most traffic and/or conversions and analyze why.
Use your analytics to pinpoint your top posts’ strengths. Knowing these numbers will help you in planning new posts, but also in giving the old post a refresh. Give the good ones a little refresh and strengthen the weak posts. Here are a couple areas in your content to look at:
Imagery
Is your imagery eye-catching and up-to-date? Repost with new imagery and it is even better if you can use your own imagery, attaching affiliate links to those personal images.
Product Features
Did your readers click on all the products that you featured or just one? Swap out the links and products that didn’t perform well with new and trendy pieces.
SEO
Is the post’s keyword game strong? Keywords are crucial for SEO. When someone is searching for your topic or post, make sure they can find it. Whatever you choose for your keyword, make it specific and use it several times within your content.
Update the posts as needed – with a new affiliate program or offer, update images and finally, republish!
