We are ecstatic to be heading to Richmond, Virginia for our first ever Focused Blogging Conference. This event is a three-day event and prides itself in being very hands-on, helping bloggers take their websites to the next level. The agenda has lots of time to network, brainstorming with other attendees, and even more time set aside for workshops led by vetted mentors.

ShareASale will be participating in numerous aspects of the conference – mentoring, leading a workshop, sponsoring a table and meeting 1:1 with bloggers for a live critique of their blog.

Workshop The very first day, Thursday, May 18, ShareASale’s Blogger Liaison, Abby Schaller, will be leading a workshop on “Creative Ways to Use Affiliate Links on Social Media.”

She will share with you the tricks of the trade! She will begin with how to grab the right Affiliate link and effectively use it on your four different social media channels. She will discuss techniques and tools to use to make the process as easy as possible, while not coming across as ‘salesy’ to your readers. Promote your favorite products on the platform where your loyal followers are, and earn some extra money while you are at it!

1:1 Meetings & Blog Critique Schedule a one-on-one meeting with ShareASale’s Blogger Liaison, Abby, while you’re at Focused Blogging Conference. During this brief meeting, she will perform a critique on your blog and make suggestions for brands that will be a good fit, as well as show you how to promote them within your content.
