What am I to do with all of the business cards I have received over the past few days?
Affiliate Summit West is a great opportunity to make new business contacts as well as revisit past business relationships. Now that you have met with all of the businesses you wanted to, make sure you do something with those business cards you collected. I know it’s easy to get home from conferences and become busy with other things that daily life brings, but make it a point to get in touch with the worthwhile business contacts. A few tips on how to stay organized with your new contacts:
Make an Excel spreadsheet with different columns that include:
- Contact Information
- What type of business they do
- How you would work with them directly
- Add any conference notes that you took while speaking with them
The back of the business card is a great place to take notes.
