Hi! I'm Sarah, the Director of Client Services for ShareASale.com. I came to ShareASale in 2005 and am responsible for providing strategic guidance and educational resources to Merchants & Affiliates that can be used to grow their accounts.
My favorite thing in the world, aside from affiliate marketing of course, is traveling. Random fact: my first concert ever was Neil Diamond when I was 4. As a result, I know an alarmingly large number of Neil Diamond songs. Don’t be a hater.

I really wanted to attend the one on Social Media Tactics, but had a Doctor’s Appointment. Often I have to work during these Webinars. I hope that ShareASale gets these training sessions archived soon. Though it’s only the end of March, we must begin to think about promos for the upcoming holidays (Memorial Day, 4th of July) and soon after the end of the year holidays. Days for more quickly than one realizes, especially when you must stay on top of the sales seasons.
Thanks for taking the time to help us all out with these training sessions. They are most appreciated!

Hey Rob! As a matter of fact, Sarah just walked an Australian merchant through the interface via Skype last weekend…I bet Jason could set up a similar walkthrough with you now while we wait for our video to be archived :)

I’m running out of ways to say that SAS gets it! Other Networks will train you for $4000 if you go to their “Symposium” or “University”. SAS really wants everyone on their Network to learn and prosper – for free – knowing if WE succeed, THEY succeed. Kudos again

I’m very glad that you have training for the affiliates. However, your scheduling leaves us no way to attend these webinars. We are a very small business and the majority of my staff, including myself, work other jobs. As head of this company, I want to stay up-to-date on the technologies of the Networks and Merchants we deal with. Unfortunately, my only day that I am available for such webinars is on Tuesdays. The rest of the time I am working at another job in the afternoon and evenings.
Are these webinars archived so people can see what transpired during them? Or is there a written training somewhere within the ShareASale system?
How can I possibly keep abreast of the technology that ShareASale uses for its affiliates, if I am unable to access such information during a time that is convenient for me and my staff?
Your assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
I agree with the above poster. The timing of the webinars is not compatible with my work schedule. The ability to watch the archived webinars would be an invaluable resource.
Working on archiving them right now, as a matter of fact :) We’ve got the video, just need to figure out the best way to get it to you guys!
I echo the responses above. Being able to access the webinar video would be fantastic.
I’ll bet you could find a way to share them. If you can’t, outsource that project to someone that could do it quickly.

I see that you were working on archiving the webinars back in July and I went to the help area and the videos are from 2008! You can’t even see what you are teaching since it is so fuzzy. Your site is not user-friendly and we need help. Seems like so many people need help. There should be a package that automatically goes out after you sign up with all sort of material to get you started. I am not finding any help. Where can I go to learn how to set up our merchant account, such as set up affiliate campaigns? How do I invite a new affiliate (someone that we know)? What is the difference between coupons and links? It also completely sucks that once you get to the blog pages that you can’t get back to your merchant account page. I am usually really good with new software, but this is driving me a bit crazy. Please help!

It would no doubt be practical and helpful even, if webinars were archived or alternatively, if the information provided during a session could be obtained, on a PDF file. Then people, who, for one or more reasons, were unable to attend a particular session would to some extent, still gain the knowledge of what has transpired and therefore would be able to keep abreast with techniques used by ShareASale

Just checking in to see if any progress has been made on archiving the webinars. If not, are there any other options besides watching at 2pm day of? Does not appear anything is offered during on a weekend and I am still at the day job at 2pm during the week. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

I am sorry. I have spent a lot of time wandering around your site. It is not helpful and I am wasting valuable time and money trying to find things that should be at my fingertips if you wanted your program to succeed you would make sure I could succeed. Very disappointed.

Definitely start by attending one of our complimentary webinars I think you’ll find a lot of great places to start.
I just thought that I would check out what is going on here … we just signed up too and, we are a national media group (not that it makes any difference) except that I know how fast the digital and online media world is changing and, it is a daily scenario and, yes, making online tutorials available is the way to go here (I think) … I am not bashing anyone at corporate either it is just that “information flow” – especially when it comes to affiliate training and the market – is crucial … the presentation could very well be out of date by March 19th … just kidding … just some thoughts from your future (and willing) affiliates …. good luck to all …. tc

I just want to log into my page, it seems everytime I want to log into one of my sites, I get something new being offered, I’m sure it’s a good thing but right now, I need to log into my affiliate site and get some work done.
